Logan Village Museum
Beautiful Logan Village Museum a must do destination, when exploring Logan. The Museum is located adjacent to the Logan River, where Logan Village was first settled in 1863. Many of the Pioneering Family descendants still reside in the area and their family histories can be uncovered as you wander through the site. Enthusiastic volunteers are on hand to share local stories and events, which have been many over the past 160 years. The area now encompasses the new satellite town of Yarrabilba, so we are eager to welcome new residents and help them understand the relevance and importance of our area, which was once home to “Camp Cable” an American Base during 1940’s. Our displays give visitors a glimpse into the life of the early settlers and those who have since built their lives around the river. Discover the industry and business opportunities that were identified and successful, some still going today. See how life has evolved over the decades from farming to home life, schooling and surviving Wars. We proudly display many photos of local veterans, along with memorabilia of their contributions made in difficult times.
